Glass door in Kent shatters in response to Clinton’s poll numbers

SIMPSON — After hearing continued reports of Hillary Clinton’s lead in the presidential polls, one of the glass doors in the Kent Campus Center shattered in an uncontrollable display of excitement earlier today.

The incident prompted security to rope off the surrounding entrance as a new glass pane was quickly installed.

Upon seeing their comrade fractured so severely, some of the other glass doors expressed fear of being shattered and therefore were hopeful that the presidential polls were not accurate.

At press time, Chris Frerichs explained to our reporters that security will be carefully monitoring other glass doors on campus in the remaining weeks leading up to the election.  They will also be paying special attention to all of the glass ceiling panels across campus.
