The Acorn’s Homecoming Week Dress-Up Day Themes!

We’re not kidding folks! These are the completely legitimate dress-up days for Homecoming! Don’t let those CAB folks tell you otherwise!

Meteorologist Monday:

As proud Storm students, dress up as your personal favorite meteorologist and predict the storm that’s going to hit the Norse on Saturday!

Taco Tuesday:

In honor of the Grand Opening of Taco Bell, dress up as your favorite taco! Taco John’s fans need not apply! (Katie made us put that in there – Love, the Acorn Editorial Board)

Jay Simmons Wednesday:

On Wednesday, please dress up in loving memory of Jay Simmons. He’s not dead. We just want everyone to remember him as the great President he is.

Hurricane-Hair Thursday:

Thursday, one of the most dreaded days of the week. There has been so many days already and it’s not quite Friday and you barely feel like getting out of bed. You are in luck! Thursday we give you a free pass to wear your hair as crazy as you can! You know, like you were in a hurricane.

“Spirit” Friday:

Many people have forgotten about the tale of Mildred, who fell to her death from the Old Chapel, now College Hall in 1935. Homecoming week was Mildred’s favorite time of year at Simpson and we welcome her to participate in Spirit Friday. Join Mildred and dress up as your favorite spirit!

Post your dress up day picture with #AcornHoCo to enter our photo contest!
The Winner will get the most pleasant surprise ever!
