Dillon Gretzky – The Greatest Hockey Player Simpson Never Had

SIMPSON – The man. The myth. The legend. Dillon Gretzky, senior basketball player for the Simpson Storm, comes from a legendary lineage.

He can light it up on the court but that last name is calling for him to deke and dangle on the ice.

With 15.4ppg  and a single game high of 27 this season, it appears he found his niche in basketball… but not everyone is convinced.

Many are intently watching to see if Dillon will ever hit the ice.

We talked to Dillon about his post-graduation aspirations, hinting at a potential future in hockey.

“Hockey? Why would I play a sport that regularly ends in a tie and is played on ice when I can play basketball in a warm gym on the shiny hardwood,” Gretzky stated confidently.

Despite his statement, Barry Melrose, hockey analyst for ESPN has Gretzky going at number three in his mock draft to the Edmonton Oilers.

Dillon Gretzky will go down as a true Simpson success and will make his mark in the Simpson Hall of Fame… the only question is…. will it be in basketball or hockey?

(P.S. Support the Simpson Storm tonight at 7:00 in the first round of the IIAC Tourney. See Gretzky on the court before he finally comes to the realization that he’s a hockey player.)

Go Storm!
