Simpson Offers May Term Class on Novelty Squirrel Taxidermy

2015-04-27_21-40-36SIMPSON- After complaints about not having any interesting May Term courses, Simpson will be offering a class teaching students how to make novelty squirrel taxidermy.

The course name is SQRL-101 and will be taught by Professor Feeney. It offers Scientific Reasoning and Historical Perspective credits.

The course idea cam to fruition when security noticed an overpopulation in campus squirrels.

“At a liberal arts school, we try to teach students a large variety of skills that will be beneficial in life” said Professor Feeney.

“In this course, we will spend the first week studying the movie Dinner for Schmucks. Barry, played by Steve Carell, offers unmatched taxidermy insights and is a model for success.”

Every student enrolled in the class will be given one squirrel pelt (provided by the Simpson Shooting Sports Club).

“Student’s grades will be determined by a tournament bracket. We will have students match off head-to-head with their novelty squirrels. The overall winner will be deemed Simpson’s new mascot.”

The novelty squirrels will be put on display in Carver Science Hall with the rest of the wildlife.
