A letter from your GPA

Hello, I know we haven’t talked in a while and I really miss talking to you.

I know you’re busy with friends and family and Netflix (and not in that order) but I think we really need to talk about something.

I am writing you this letter as a plea; a plea of help and a plea of mercy. Do you not see what you are doing to me? How can you be so oblivious to the immense amount of pain you are causing me? I thought we were supposed to be friends! I loved you and all you did was ignore me and say to yourself: “They’re probably fine.” Well I’m not fine! I’m hurting! And you don’t care!

I’m sorry that I’m getting upset with you, and I know it’s not entirely your fault. I wasn’t always good to you. I’ve had my moments. I know I used to be spunky and attractive and I realize I let myself go a bit… but that’s only because you ignored me! We both had our shortcomings. We both could have been better to each other. We are both at fault, but I don’t want this to be the end of us.

I really think we can work this out. It’s not too late to get our relationship back on track. If we both put in the time and effort, I know we can work this out. I want our relationship to work out because, whether we like it or not, we’re stuck together for the foreseeable future. We need to be good to each other to make this work.

Most sincerely,

Your GPA
